Hello
My husband recently gave me a Luban Ray as a present. Now I’m trying to familiarize myself with it, but I have a question about this project:
I have created the attached file in Lightburn.
Orange should be engraved, blue should be cuted.
I have both done in one go, so to speak. In the first step the engraving, in the second step directly the cutting. (without managing anything in between)
I set my starting point before the engraving manually, starting from the bottom right.
What surprises me now, please see the photo of the result:
It has completely finished the engraving and started with the cutting.
Why does the cutting partly fit perfectly on the engraving (marked green in the result) and why are there some very large shifts (marked red)?
This is not at all clear to me.
If it did not match completely, it would still be logical that the starting point of the cutting would not have matched the starting point of the engraving.
But the fact that it partly fits perfectly and partly shifts in such a way doesn’t make any sense to me at all.
As I said, there were only two passes:
The first was for the complete engraving, the second (without a break) would have been completely for the cut - I then canceled it because of the result.
Can anyone help me what the problem might be?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards
Maike
