I have a problem with the fill mode (configured as padding in the settings, FYI).
I made a drawing that took me a long time to make, I’ve been on it since yesterday.
But impossible to fill it to engrave it as I wish.
It fills up… Where I want it to be empty !
I tried putting it in line mode, copying and pasting the drawing, saving and reopening : same result.
Can you help me pleas e?
On the video, black is “line”, red is “fill”.
It seems the outer most shape is not closed. Check this by deselecting all objects, then Edit->select open shapes. If your shape gets selected it’s not closed.
If the shape is otherwise well formed you may be able to close it by selecting it and then Edit->Close Path or Close selected paths with tolerance. This will only work if the path is not closed at a single point.
Else use Edit Nodes to identify gaps in the design and close them.
