Hello my Name is Daniel and i am quiet new in the Laser cuting and graving Business.
My Problem:
Before i installed the Limit Switches my laser was crashing in to the side bars. now i have installed the Switches and everything is ok and working but my laser is in Home position an the position shown on the screen if you press “get Position” is x -407 and y -397. Now i am not able to start a projekt in Absolut coords Mode because my laser is Starting to move to the Other end to Reach x 0,0 and y 0,0. How can i Change the Position back to 0,0. I think this happends after the Laser was moving against the side Bars and the Motor didnt stop

I don’t think that’s the case. I think this is a result of how Sculpfun has built their firmware.
There are various ways of handling this but the easiest might be to install a new firmware.
@misken from this forum has a very detailed Wiki on Sculpfun lasers that covers many aspects of Sculpfun lasers and modification. This includes addition of limit switches and how to address this very issue. He’s also a native German speaker and the Wiki is available in both English and German if that’s easier for you.
