Problem with communication getting it to laser correctly

My computer is an ASUS laptop windows 10 and the problem came up when I upgraded to the new lightburn now with my diode lasers both of them what shows on the screen is not what comes out of the laser. I put say my logo a buch of lines are drawn all over the place. Also on my co2 I can only use the RD file to send it to burn a file. I thought it was the computer so got another computer still same issue. I am about to sale everything and just go pro CNC only. I am getting mad at this was wanting to go to Millmage but if this keeps on I believe I want to stay away. Can anyone help me figure this out?

I’m confused you seem to be mixing Lightburn and Millmage.

You are having a problem with Lightburn and your laser?

I am not mixing I said with the issues I am having with lightburn I dont want to switch to millmage for my cnc. no confusion.

You also have this that is confusing the issue.

Maybe a picture of the problem.

pic 1 is what I am trying to engrave. pic 2 is what engraved and has engraved for the last 3 months now with 3 different computers on my lightburn. So not sure if it is my lightburn or what. I can engrave with RD file just fine on my co2 with all the different computers. just not from lightburn.

Was it working before the upgrade?

Did you upgrade Lightburn from thier website?

LaHobby Guy.com has a good video on how to fix lightburns new download.

yes it was working fine end of december when I used it heavy. I went in in January got a notice to make payment and did then a week or 2 later updated it to the software. I then went to use it on my diode tried a couple tests on some slates had wierd lines all over the place when I was trying to do a Marine ega. thought wow thats odd. So I put it on another laser same thing. I thought ok maybe computer acting up. so I go out to my co2 frames fine wont send contact omtech they send out new mainboard thinking that was the problem because the tech had me save as rd and send from there it worked perfect. so I went in found a newer used computer from a family member still did the same thing. when wife got back in town tried her new computer still same thing. so is it something in my lic or what?

It’s a bit mysterious, what you show in the picture is what people normally get with LB versions “not purchased” from LightBurn.
That’s probably what @Dskall has in mind too.
It’s not a statement but a logical thought in the troubleshooting process. My recommendation is that you should clarify it with LightBurn’s support department directly, they give the green light that you have a valid license, then the troubleshooting can be continued in a different direction.

Are your lasers both DSP type lasers like the collar pro version from LB?
