Problem with disconnected laser/"Transfer failed"

I just finished setting up my xtool D1 Pro, but instead of the laser being ready it says “disconnected” for 1 sec then “ready” for one sec and it just goes on like that… and when I try starting my project I get a message that says: The machine has problem sending data to the laser. The maschine may be busy or paused"

Does anyone have some good advice what might be the problem?

Depending on the cable length you may need a good cable with a ferrite core, and maybe shielded.

Thanks. I just used the cabel that came with the laser. Its about 1 m long and shielded.

I think I just figured it out. I needed to change de COM port to COM10:)

Hi.

Even though it may have been as simple as an incorrect COM port in Your case, the USB cable on mine (bought the D1 Pro on December -22) was defective from the start, and combined with the XCS issues caused me a lot of unnecessary grief.
At some point I’m planning to make some adapters so I can test it with a CAT cable tester, if for nothing else, just for the curiositys sake.
If Yours happen to be from the same batch, discard it, You most likely won’t regret that.
