Hello I encounter a software problem when I want to burn in image mode lightburn does not make a correct g code it starts and gives me an alert error 1 the words of g-code consist of a letter and a value.the letter was not found. I can’t find where it can come from I had no problem before maybe the 1.4.01 update thank you have a nice day

The message probably lacks a bit of context.
Who gives the alert? The laser?
Are you generating the G-code in a file, or are you driving the laser from the computer live? In the 2nd case, maybe you can export it and upload it in this forum for the specialists to examine it.

Your engraver is a good conventional engraver with known GRBL firmware.

Your laser engraver will generate the error if LightBurn has GCode Clustering enabled in Device Settings. The Sculpfun isn’t equipped with this option. Click Edit, click Device settings, turn off the Enable GCode Clustering switch on the right-hand side, then click OK.

The other cause can be from not selecting a GRBL profile to communicate with a Laser (like yours) that is running GRBL Firmware. Incorrectly selecting iLaser, Smoothie, GRBL-M3 or another protocol can send codes the Sculpfun won’t recognize.

In the Laser window in LightBurn, with your Sculpfun connected to LightBurn, click the Devices button (bottom right) and verify that you are using a GRBL profile. Clicking the ‘Find my Laser’ button may also work well.

You’re right. This will show us either fault.

With your project open in LightBurn, click File, click Save GCode, and save the file somewhere convenient. Open the file in a simple text editor like notepad or notepad++ or anything.
Please copy the first 20 lines from the file and paste them into a reply here.
This should be more than adequate to see what is causing the error.

Merci les amis il faut bien désactiver clustering GCode dans le menu merci a tous ça marche
Bonne journée
