Problems with Lightburn and Atomstack X40 max

Hello

i just bought a new Laser, the Atomstack X40 Max (coming from a Xtool D1 Pro 20w)
with the Xtool i used their Softwaren now with the Atomstack i use Lightburn

but it just stops whenever it wants and i have to close the software and open it up again because the laser freezes on point and i cant stop,pause or go to home position anymore.

i changed the sd card and the USB cable, looked at the usb and battery management on the laptop, this should be ok.

can someone help me with my problem? what could cause the problem?

What do you mean “laser Freezes”. Laser Shuts off or X Y doesn’t Move. If axis doesn’t move see below.

Check your belt tension. Correct tension is when you tilt machine at 90 degrees and X or y axis slowly moves from front to back or left to right. Too loose and it slams into rail. Too tight and it will not move
