Problems with old engraver

After a gap of 3 years, I’ve decided to dig out my engraver out of garage

Having problems with Ortur lm2 so thinking of buying Sculpfun S30 pro

Ortur is not connecting with laptop check USB and changed USB cable twice. The machine worked ok last night so I think it’s fried the com between mother board and stepper motors and laser.

I have one of these, very happy with it.

Is it a step in the right direction. I’m hopeful that it’s a upgrade
