Might try swapping ends of your rotary within your machine…
Is this a manufacturers rotary made for your machine?
If the swap end works, then the phase inputs to motor need to be swapped…

I bought some real wide black masking tape. When I do a new design, I wrap the object with the black tape, turn the power down and run it. The tape will let you see what it’s doing, then you can peel it off and you haven’t damaged any material…
