Check Edit->Device Settings->Additional Settings and make sure that the values there as closely represents your actual machine performance as possible.
I’ve done that. You can see by the series of screen shots that it is accurately predicting the remaining time, but progress bar just jumps to 99 % as soon as the job starts.
I believe the progress bar is based on the relative number of instructions sent to the laser rather than expected vs actual wall clock time.
Since your design is extremely simple it doesn’t require many instructions.
Try a more complex design, perhaps using an image, and see if the progress bar more closely approximates wall time.
