Protective Goggles for S9

Hey out there in Laser land.
I was reading today that the goggles that come with the S9 are not the best protection.
Wondering if the community can recommend a good pair. I am also unsure of the frequency of the beam, I think its 940nm.
Anyway if any one has a recommendation let me know.

The frequency of the beam is 455nm! Be aware not to choose goggles for 900+nm. Those won’t fit.
There are many out there on Amazon for example. Personally, since I only have one pair of eyes, I only trusted a national laser safety supplier, not the Chinese Amazon sellers that all pretend to have certified ones… They were $125, but I think that’s worth it

You can get a good pair of glasses with OD6+ rating on Amazon.

These are the ones I bought and I am happy with them.

Are you guys sure it’s in the 400nm range. Every where I look it says diode lasers are in 800 to 1000nm range.
Perhaps it’s the color of the laser that has me confused.
As for those goggles they are what I was looking at but thought the wavelength was higher so they wouldn’t work
Ah I found this reference on a webpage.
The Sculpfun S9 Laser Engraving Machine is a fixed-focus laser engraver with a 445-nanometer wavelength blue diode laser
Cool feeling better now

Thanks guys

It’s directly written on the laser module. 450 +/- 5 nm.
Wavelength above 1000 are for CO2 and other laser types.

Hey Melvin
Yes I found that today, Every day I learn something new.
Thanks very much for your input it’s greatly appreciated.
