First post here but I wanted to share something I stumbled upon today. I have a Voron 3D printer that contains a Pi4 that connects to my home network over wifi. I wanted to explore if I could connect my Ortur LM2 Pro to the Pi4 to pass this USB connection to a PC on the network running Lightburn, essentially turning my laser into a wireless device via the Pi, and without using the terrible looking ‘offline controller’ from Ortur. I discovered that this is entirely possible, using a piece of open source Linux and Windows software called USBIP. A quick google will give you everything you need to know. Maybe not a common scenario but could be useful to someone.
