QR code not taking password for wifi

I can never get a QR code to work out of Lightburn specifically the password it is scanning the network and then it asked me to enter the password, so I always use my Android phone and get a QR code for the internet that I’m making a plaque for. Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?

Try scanning this QR

See what you get out of it.

Did you do something different from these steps?

I selected TOOLS
CREATE QR
Drag a box on the screen
Enter desired text
Press Enter

Yes I follow those steps. But it’s like it doesn’t pickup the password on every wifi QR code that I have made. It links to the network fine.

What device(s)/app(s) have you tested your QR code(s) with? Have you tried more than one to check whether it’s a device/app issue? I suspect the issue lies with the scanning app as QR codes are just encoded text. Check the text in your scanner app, does it agree with the text you entered in LB?

Are you testing the readability from the preview screen, a print out on paper or an engraving?

Try scanning the QR I made above…what did your scanner read?

+1 to try different devices.

Do you have the capitalized letters right?
Do you have any extra spaces in the password?

I made a QR for my son’s B&B WIFI in NY, burned it to a piece of Baltic Birch, sent an image of it to him, and he could access the WIFI using the image of the wood.

Yeah, I would say you have a typo in there somewhere.
