QR-Code special characters encoding problem

Hello, I’m using the QR-Code generation tool in Lightburn quite a lot, mostly for encoding raw text. But it seems that special characters aren’t encoded properly. When I scan the QR-Code where I put something like äöü, it decodes it as some chinese character. Can I do anything about that or should I encode it with a different tool?

I’m not sure if I’m seeing the same thing.

Can you try scanning this? What do you get?

I’ve tried with three different apps and I get this: äöü
:+1:

the contents for this one are decoded correctly, it shows “äöü”

Interesting.

  1. What version of LightBurn are you using?
  2. What language do you have for LightBurn?
  3. What keyboard type are you using?
