QR codes different than anywhere else, not scannable

Hi guys,

I wanted to engrave my voucher codes as QR codes so I don’thave to type them. I am using the same variable %0 as for the code with “use variable” enabled. But the code looks different than in any online QR code generator. This is their output for HE7KE8HP:

Also, I can not scan it from the screen as with the one above.

They both resolve to the same values for me.

After some digging it looks like those patterns may just represent different levels of error correction for a given mask pattern.
