Question about layer and Line, Fill

Hi

Anybody know why this is happening?
Figures in the bottom is correct, but the one in the ears is mirrored or not filled correctly.

This is the file Mickey on Etsy

test Mickey.lbrn2 (1.2 MB)

To me, it looks like another ethsy purchase where there is disorder in the layers or other errors. We just had one here in Forum today with some similar errors and deficiencies in the original file.
Is it the original file you’ve shown here?, What does SVG look like (or the format you bought)?

Seems to be missing some lines.

Yes, the ears are completely missing …

SVG.lbrn2 (1.2 MB)

Yes, i also see that now. Thank you for the observation.
The line is missing on the SVG file. I use this file type almost every time.
I opened the AI file, and there all the lines are in place i think.

But there are a lot of layers, very confusing i think.

Please have a look at the files attached

Thanks in advance

Checked the other layers on tha AI file. Almost everything is mirrored.
Is there an easy way to invert the pictures?
Same as the Invert button in Preview

Where is your home on your machine?
You write “Almost everything”, I don’t understand that, either it’s all the mirror or not … try to help me here.
The many different layers are related to the designer making the different parts more visible, but has not been good at this.
I will cut it down to a cut layer and max 3 variable engraving layers if it was me.

Home is front left.
The “mirror” thing is that the ears are white and not black when i test Fill and Line on different layers.

Here on the castle Line or Fill is not correct if you see the picture from the website

I’ve been trying to play with this file, but gave up. In my opinion, there are too many errors in the project. The layering, number of layers and tons of dublicates … I will try to get the money back for the file, although it is not much it is not fair for people to spend hours on post -processing.

If I see it right, then the different cuts should be placed in a stack. In addition, all outer lines must have the same cut layer … It’s just a big mess with all the layers.
In my example, there is the swap on layering and the property is also different, it again gives another result …

Your AI should burn correctly since it has the border line and it.

I mean once you go in and fix all the layers.

Ya, ok seriously there should only be 3 layers.

Down to 3 layers

This is how it should be done. Only left to delete layer 00, there is no need for the black lines, in my opinion

Fantastic :grinning:
That’s the way it should be.

Thank you very much for this one.
Made a small test, came out the correct way.
95 mm wide.

True, but you get what you pay for. There was an outline in the tree cutout that I left in.
@bernd.dk In the process of fixing this file I have a question if you know the answer to.
I needed to change a whole layer to a different color but couldn’t find a way to switch one layer short of selecting each piece and changing layer. I know there must be a way to do this.

Reworked castle.

Sorry for the late replies, I overlooked this part of your post.

To select and change everything from a certain layer, hold down the shift key and click on the right side in “Cuts/Layer” menu on the desired layer.

Thanks, that helps if I can remember it.
