Quick Tip - Easy way to measure stuff?

The easiest way to measure stuff: draw a line. It auto-snaps to existing vertices, and displays (just below the color palette) the length of the current segment when dragging. Before creating the 2nd point, just hit ‘Esc’ key to cancel the line and no line is created.

We considered adding a ruler tool, but it would be the same number of clicks, so there was no point.

Thanks @Rick. Any tips for measuring objects on centers? I do this quite often when confirming tolerances from drawings. I also measure from edge to center when needed. I’m looking forward to LightBurn adding better measuring tools.

Lines automatically snap to object centers, as well as existing vertices (nodes).
