Radius tool sporadic behavior when trying to revert to corner

The Radius tool is behaving a bit erratic when trying to revert back to a corner.

Once you deselect a shape after applying a radius, it occasionally takes several attempts to revert it back to a corner again after re-selecting it.

If you do a negative radius, it won’t convert back to a corner even though the cursor shows it recognizes the curve. It converts fine if you do it in the same selection session as you create it, but once you click away it seems irreversible.

I can confirm what you describe, but I also only experience it “sporadically”.

ps. you can’t upload videos directly here, I use YT and refer you to it.

Maintaining the reversibility of actions is actually just as hard as making the tool in the first place. I believe this is a known bug, but I’ll check.

Thanks.

It matters as I’m in the middle of filming a Quick Tips for Daniel and this was part of the script. If it’s not working then we’ll have to revise.

Actually I usually convert them to animated GIF which works here. I was just moving too fast and skipped a step

Hey Carl, this bug is now fixed. I’m seeing about getting you a build that has this fixed for your video.

Hi Colin.

No rush. We pulled it out of the script for now. I think the consensus was that we wouldn’t show anything that was potentially an issue in the current production release version and we can work that feature into a future video.

Thanks for the sanity check that it was something needing to be fixed though.
