This is how i did a Ramp Test on my Atomstack A70 Pro.
This is a word document so just delete the .txt at the end of the file name.
I decided to automate the Ramp Test process for engraving. This file will create a series of 10 lines. 5 Lines in 3 mm increments below (Z Axis Down) your initial focus height. And 5 lines in 3 mm increments above (Z Axis Up) your initial focus height. Pick the line with the narrowest width to determine what your actual focus height should be. When you run this job if the narrowest line ends up being +3. When you focus a job for engraving add 3 mm to what the manufacturer recommends.
Before you run this you will need to focus your job above the work piece to the manufactures recommendation for engraving and make sure the Z is approximately in the middle of its range so it has room to move at least 12 mm up or down from there.
Feel free to modify this job if needed. Maybe change the steps from 3 mm to 2 mm would be better. I’ll do a little more testing but what i have seems to work.
