Random G0 Z20 command crashes CNC

In the code above, there is a random line of code that I cannot find the source for and it crashes my CNC.

G0 Z20

I have my safe clear clearance height set to 5mm. This is observable in the line G0 Z5. But the previous G0 Z20 command before the spindle is even started, sends my machine beyond it’s limits and crashes the job before starting it.

If I move the spindle to the side of the material, I can lower the bit past Z0 and allow for enough travel for the move up the commanded 20mm and the job will run.

Is this a default value I can change somewhere? Others have expressed different values than Z20, but no one has been able to figure out where the value or command is coming from.

has the file/g code been imported from another system,

checked files i made in MM against files created in estlcam, ones from estlcam show the G0 Z20 and they wont run in MM none of MM show G0Z20

has this only started since you updated to RC8

I’m going take a stab in the dark on this

if you can get into your boards settings while not connected to MM and see what your Z offset is

than go into machine settings in mill mage while connected to your board and check what Z off set is

Ive never had it happen in MM but have had it happen with light burn couple of times when ive done an update limits or offsets don’t always match , not the most fun finding it comparing rows of letters and numbers

Whatever the problem was has been corrected with the release of RC-8.
