RC-8 - Framing smaller than carve area

Some feedback from using MillMage for a while now.

I like the feature in Lightburn to frame my “print”.
I use it in MillMage but the area that it frames seems to be about 3mm or so smaller than the actual carve area.
I can send a picture if it would help.

Lightburn is a line, MillMage is a path. Are you considering the width of the milling tool because 3mm is not very much.

This is what I did.

I lowered the milling tool to 0.2 mm below the top of the piece of wood.
I then clicked on the frame command. It drew a box shape in the wood, on what is supposed to be the edge of work piece I want to carve.
Once it returened home, and then issued the command to carve my design. The edges of the design are about 3 mm outside of the the frame. Worst case I would have expected it to be on the line.

Here is a picture of the situation:

had similar issues once when framing a 600mm table top, took ages to work out why it was 3mm off centre when framing

mine was due to workpiece had been enabled under move/ position ?

this caused that , if you have limit switches on machine due to your off sets

the circle isn’t centre of frame? i would assume it should be centred , have you got out of bounds enabled,?

have you tried the circle frame and than cut piece to see where it lies on that frame
