The save RD File button does not seem to be saving a file on my usb stick that my machine can read.
I have been using Lightburn for a few years and now it has stopped saving the files correctly.
I have also tried going to the top of screen and using File-Save as… and the same result.
I plug the usb stick into the machine and it does not see any files…
Do you have any idea what could be going on?
My software version is 1.3.01

The Save RD File just saves the project as a document now
Thanks Rob
I just tested saving RD file to the computer and importing it back in worked without issue so I assume for the moment that this isn’t directly LightBurn related.
Just to confirm that the file is being generated properly try bringing the .rd file back into LightBurn to check that it works.
Can you elaborate on this? How are you differentiating?
If you use Finder to view the contents of the file, do all the files looked well formed and the file names what you expect?
Make sure that the file extension is indeed .rd for the file. Make sure that file extension isn’t being hidden when you do this. It may be that somehow the file extension isn’t actually .rd.

Take a screenshot in Finder if you don’t see anything obvious.
The other possibility is that perhaps the format of the USB drive has changed or gotten corrupted in some way. Consider reformatting the drive in that case.
Thank you,
I have removed and reinstalled the lightburn software and now everything is ok.
