I use LightBurn. Do I have to reload the LightBurn software again since I put a new control board and screen in? The new screen is in Chinese.
No, you should not need to reload LighBurn assuming you have the DSP version already but you will need to reconfigure LightBurn for your new controller.
Push Devices button in Laser panel of LightBurn.

That worked like a charm, but now my laser “hammers” in the top right corner when I try to move it from where it parks. any ideas?
Did you ‘save’ the old controllers settings and ‘write’ them back to the new controller?

Fixed it. Reset all the parameters. Good to go!
