I just bought 150w of ruida rdc8445s co2 laser, my device movement is working perfectly witg every software like (lightburn 2.1, Rdwork v8.01.67, and mantisolo
My problem is y trt e laser beam only works if the file came from rd work when ever i send the file through whatever program that not rdwork the movement is working but the laser tub is not, I tried with wifie, cable, and flash, also the file name that not contain any space or, or symbols to interfere with the mother board, i need a way to use mantisolo and lightburn , help me to troubleshoot the problem
Mantisolo is a mobile app that would replace Lightburn. I doubt the two could work together.
Are you saying a project created in Lightburn will not turn on the laser, but will move properly?
Yess, that when at the same time when i test RDworks with the same USB cable same port the laser work, but when i back to lightburn, the laser does not work but the movement is work properly
Not sure if you did this, but you cannot have RDworks open when you launch Lightburn.
A CO2 laser will not fire below a certain speed, and the minimum power setting is about 10% - 12%. Without your settings details, it would be hard to diagnose your problem. Can you upload your Lightburn file (.lbrn2) that is giving you a problem? The CO2 laser experts can then comment on it.
Is this true? I don’t run Windows, but on my early release of Lightburn, I had it out near the laser.
I could connect both Lightburn applications to the same laser. I was using Ethernet, not usb, and the Ruida uses UDP, so there is no real connection control, so to speak. I don’t think the Ruida knows or cares who accesses it.
I’d recommend you use Ethernet, put your machine on your lan, that eliminates most of the issues related to problems with the usb interface.
