Neither your profile or your post mention what kind of machine you have. If you have a GCode controller, you’ll only be able to change Min Power if you’re using grayscale mode. Otherwise, it’s zero, set by the controller itself.
Is there a way around this issue, its introduced a big issue, in that im unable to use halftone reliably ?
Halftone uses “on” or “off” - that’s it. There is no need to set a minimum power value for halftone. The only image mode that requires a min power setting is grayscale, because Min Power is the value used for white areas, and Max Power is used for black, and everything in between is scaled between those.
Halftone doesn’t work that way - it’s basically a special dithering mode. Why do you feel you are unable to use halftone reliably?
