New to laser cutting/egraving. Our Ruida6445g was working well, but the alignment on the mirror were out, so we realigned them. Now it wont cut through material, it will only engrave. no matter the power or speed.
Am i doing something wrong? sorry for the little info. hopefully it is enough.
I’ve attached the settings we used previously and they worked perfectly. cutting on 4mil acrylic.
If I were to hazard a guess, I would say your mirrors are misaligned.
Then you have to start all over again with the process. Have you also checked from M3 to the lens?, is nozzle head vertical 90 degrees to bed in X and Y direction?
Almost sounds like the beam is bouncing off the inside of the nozzle instead of coming straight through the center. Been there, done that.
Yes, you hosed up the alignment.
It’s a bit more tedious than most expect. Take your time. Do you have an outline to follow?
