Running a k40 with smoothieware on a c3d. Mostly it’s fine but on vector engraves at higher speeds (above 50mm/s) it tends to drift a lot in the y axis. Is this to be expected? What’s the max speed people use. Raster engraving runs fine up to 200+ mm/s, it’s just complex cuts/engraves with a lot of direction changes it can’t keep up
Ha, acceleration setting was ambitious in smoothie - edited via the console “config-set sd acceleration 1500” did the trick!
