Recognise IR module in my P1

I have connected my P1 to lightburn without any difficulties but lightburn defaults to the 5W diode and not the IR module. I can’t seem to get lightburn to recognise this unit and i can’t see how to install it as a different machine. With the atomstak studio software it automatically recognises the module.

I have looked on the Atomstak website but i can’t find a seperate file to load into lightburn for the IR module.

If necessary i will just use the atomstak studio software but would prefer lightburn as it is a more comprehensive system.

I though they just swapped out the visible led for the IR led, is that not the case?

If not then it’s likely it has a gcode to switch lasers, if you know the codes you can make clickable macros. I’d think if they told Lightburn they would have incorporated it.

I thought the same thing. From an electronics view, there is no difference except power levels.

Last one I spoke to was on Reddit and they advised the fiber package wasn’t available at that time. It’s kind of a cute system, expensive, though.

I’d like to hear from them when get it up and running.

Not sure being a fiber package changes anything…?

I wouldn’t think it would, but all it really means is I can’t ask him about it. I think he got only one module.
