Rectangle out of lightburn work space

Title: Rectangle shifts off-grid even with center anchor and Set Origin

Hi folks,

I am new to all of this. I’ve run into something puzzling in LightBurn. Well puzzling to me.

  • I’m working with a 200mm wide x 300mm high piece of wood.
  • I move the laser to the center of that wood (X:160, Y:100), and use “Set Origin” — verified and working.
  • I draw a rectangle, select the center anchor, then enter Width = 200, Height = 300, X = 160, Y = 100.

Problem: LightBurn pushes the rectangle downwards, and part of it ends up outside the visible grid. If I move it back manually, the X pos and Y pos coordinates change — it’s not staying centered.

My LightBurn bed is set to 410x400mm, and I’m using an Atomstack A5 M50 pro I’ve confirmed I’m using the center anchor when resizing and positioning.

Any idea what I’m missing?
Kind regards
Mark

Manually or using the arrow buttons? X should be 100 and Y 150, right? x is left and right, usually.

Where? The center anchor for positioning is only in the laser window and has nothing to do with drawing.
