Red Dot Framing Offset Issue

Hi everyone,

I’m using a Monport GQ 20W (4.3" x 4.3") Fiber Laser Engraver & Marking Machine (FDA approved model) and I’m experiencing an issue with the red dot framing.

Here’s what happens:

  • When I first calibrate the red dot, the framing is correct and perfectly aligned.
  • But after I actually run the laser job, the red dot framing becomes offset.
  • If I run another laser pass in the same spot, the engraving still lands correctly in the original framed position, but the red dot keeps showing an incorrect offset.

So basically:

  • Laser output = correct position (no shift).
  • Red dot framing = wrong offset after running the first job.
  • This behavior happens consistently.

Has anyone else run into this issue with galvo machines in LightBurn? Is there a fix or a known setting that I should check?
