I’m parting with my spark mini made by Youssef over in BC. It was the first unit built so it’s not the same as the one he sells on his site. This unit had lots of fine tuning and mods we made together (and some on my own).

As for pricing, you’ll have to compare it to out-of-the-box operations like Aeon and xTool. The xTool P2 is around $5k CAD. A Mira 5 is a little more, $7500. Seeing as anyone who buys that machine will be dealing with prototype quirks, $1-2k would be a fair price for a well used machine with a tube of unknown lifespan remaining.
Notably, it looks like there is corrosion on the fasteners and rails; that’s a big yike from me - it could mean that PVC-containing materials were cut on the laser, which damages optics and corrodes everything.
Funny enough that’s one of the things he changed from the early build based on my feedback… The fastener quality! It actually arrived like that lol. I never cut pvc, but a tube broke in shipment and the water left in the tube from when the machine had been test fired made the inside of the crate humid and the fasteners went rusty almost instantly.
It’s crazy how much more terrible fasteners can be when you try to save on them, I’ve learned my lesson on other projects for that. There are no margins on bolts, so the expensive fasteners are just expensive.
And thanks, I was worried that price range was just dreaming in colour. It’s hard to find people who get the value of things like better linear rails etc. Considering the acrylic lid needing some adjustments, and the quirks of a machine that was modified to its finished state, I don’t think I’d be comfortable going higher than 2k cad /1500 usd anyways, but 500$ would have hurt lol
