Removing lightburn emblazer

Help please,
I have been told the Emblazer 2 puts down roots in a computer that are a little hard to remove. I have just brought a new laser G750L and have a new license key, but the company I brought the new laser from says Lightburn needs to be removed a certain way, if it’s been used previously with the Emblazer 2.
Does anyone know how?

I’m not sure why that would be the case?

LightBurn doesn’t necessarily even need to be removed, just navigate to (Help > License Management, and ‘Deactivate License’). Activate it again with the new license key.

Then install any updates (Help >Check for Updates)

Reset LightBurn to factory settings?

Q: Is there a way to reset LightBurn to “factory default” settings? A: There is. Follow these steps: Run LightBurn Click File => Open Prefs Folder Close LightBurn Delete the contents of the prefs folder (it should be a couple files called prefs.ini and prefs.old) That’s it. When you re-run you’ll be asked to set up your laser again, and everything will be as new.
