How do I remove the white background associated with a picture, whether uploaded or copy and paste ?

I use Gimp… I don’t think there’s anything in Lightburn that will remove a background… If I’m understanding you…

Here is the picture I have

It has a white square. I just want to have the lobster only. Right now on my upload the white square blended in , but when I have it in the lightburn the white square appears.
