I just purchased a new license, renewed, and it won’t let me install the newest version. Tried deactivating and then using new key, but to no avail, help!

In what way are you prevented from doing this? What are you experiencing that impedes you?

Also, is there a reason why you bough a new key? A renewal would normally extend the validity period of your current license.
