I renewed my license yesterday after a slight crash where lightburn wouldn’t open.
When I got it working again I saw my license had expired (please send some kind of tickle reminder) so I updated. The main computer where I do designing updated but the offline computer where the laser is hooked up to didn’t update when I connected it to the internet. I’m sure it’s an easy fix but I don’t know what to do?
Did you click (help) (check for updates)? You did say it was online. Or are you saying the License management under the same tab didn’t update?
Under license management it tells me my license has expired. This computer had offline activation. I’ve since been able to connect it to the internet. It doesn’t update like the main computer did with online activation. Hope this is clear. It did let me update to 2.05 but I was within the active license period. Thanks for any assistance.
If you used offline activation that means it’s offline and never attempts to connect to the license server.
If you deactivate it, then use the normal online activation while itms connected, that will work.
(Or you could offline activate it again, which would also pick up the new info)
Not sure how to do this, the option I have is request offline deactivation? Here is a screenshot of what I have. Please help me.
If I’m reading correctly and you’re online you can click deactivate license. You’ll probably need to reenter your license and it should see the update.
If you’re still offline you click request offline deactivation and then redo the request offline activation.
