How do I just take it back to normal settings after using a rotary? I had to type in “$__=“ to get it to use a rotary. How do I make it normal again?
I’m not familiar with this command. Where did you get it and what is it intended to do?
I just said “blank” I am familiar with any commands. I forget the dollar value I was supposed to type. I got it from this video. https://youtu.be/8y4VMbTa71U?si=axmiw-SBCnKwL9Yl
$22=0
$141=600
So now it won’t go home and if I hit origin it races to the top right. I am just wondering how to switch it back. Thank you for your time.
Ah, ok. This was a little confusing because typically when commands are shown in quotation marks it indicates to take those literally as-is.
Assuming that you’re using the OLM3 in your profile then you’d want to revert these back to the original state.
$22=1
$141=1000
Also, since you’re asking this question that likely means you haven’t taken a backup of your settings which I suggest you do. You can do this in Edit->Machine Settings or by typing $$
in Console, and copying the text to a file as reference.
In general you wouldn’t want to start making changes without a backup available.
Also, one nice thing about Ortur machines is that you’re able to safely reset the GRBL configuration back to factory defaults safely if required by typing $RST=*
at any time.
Awesome! Thank you.
