Rotary Axis Type for 30W Fiber Laser

I need advice about which rotary axis type I should get for an Omtech 30W Integrated Fiber Laser

My confusion is because the specs I found on the manual for this laser say this:

Applicable Rotary Axis Type : D50/D60

Given the price for these attachments are quite considerable, I have been checking options in Temu and Ali Express, and I see some good deals for an 80mm rotary for 124 when similar items in AZN cost up to 3 times that amount, but I believe that would be a D80 rotary type and might not be compatible with my machine

I have a D80 on mine, shipped with it. The motor appears to be a NEMA24.

Is there a motor driver in your machine for the rotary?

I believe the number relates to the diameter of the chuck. My D80 is almost 180mm tall and I use my 80cm column for long lenses… Ensure you have enough room to use the proper lens.

As far as the motor, you have to know what kind of motor driver you have, two or three phase.

Where are you located? I have a cloudray D80 new in box I’m never going to use. It has a 4pin connector on it. I’m in the USA and would be willing to part with it if you’re interested. The below is what I have. Cloudray is also a good place to look for one too.

All I know it has the 4-pin connector and I cannot find extra information about this laser

You are right . This machine might not fit the 80mm since the support column is not very tall

I didn’t look to see what you had for a machine. I guess I can’t help you.

It says D50 or D60 in your posted specifications.

If it’s out of warranty you can look inside to see what motor driver, if any, it has and what it’s steps/rotation are.

If it didn’t come with a rotary, I wonder if they put the extra money in it to support a rotary.

If you do get one, mine was set to 12,800 steps/rotation…
