I am not sure if this belong to the Lightburn Softwate subsection. Please feel free to move it where it belongs.
My setup: OMTech 80 watts red and black Chinese Laser engraver, with Ruida controller.
My rotary device: Omtech paralell rollers (link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086L4ZQHB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that connects to the Y axis controller.
I have already undesrtood the roller setup section of Lightburn, and have succefully run several jobs.
My problem is, that suddenly, one engraving comes out narrower than the others.
This happened a few days ago while I was engraving some glass wines. I was replacing glass after glass and pressing the start button on my controller panel, as to “repeat” works. Suddenly, one of the engraving comes out narrower, like I modified my settings on the software.
Today, I am engraving some personalized tumblers, and the same happened to me, just that this time I am sending the job from my computer, after replacing names in my design. Since this happened, I am running a frame before every job, and check the tumbler is rotating as expected before I send the real deal.
As I write this, I am starting to think it’s related to my specific roller setup, but would like to know if this has happend to some one else.
EDIT 1: Picture comparing my normal vs narrow engraving: https://imgur.com/a/uQj7Y15
EDIT 2: this has never happened to me while cutting or engraving on a flat surface.
Thanks a lot.
