Rotary Roller Not Turning (LokLiK iEngrave Cover)

This says the X-limit switch is closed. Make sure you wired it up properly.

With the laser module in the middle of the space, entering ? in the Console window should give Pn: with no X or Y with it.

Moved module to center and entered $:

Tried moving/jogging up, down, left, right:

Can you post a photo of the limit switches?

Correction…this is the error when trying to jog left/right:

Jogging up/down makes it vibrate. Won’t let me upload the video.

You have to check the switches here:

.

If they are stick or have something in the optical path.

.

Connected and clear.

That is only the connections the switches are under the X gantry.
You have to remove the screws( maybe 2 per switch) and check them.

That first image in posting #6 is what you are looking for. The little black thing with the slot in the middle. It appears you have optical rather than mechanical lever switches.

So, what am I to do with that? There’s nothing obstructing it. Indicator light responds when the x-bar is placed at both ends.

Put the trolley (holding the laser module) in the middle of its travel. Enter ? in the Console window.

If you see that |Pn:X| in the MPos: line, then the sensor is bad, no matter what the blinky lights say. This means you need to contact LokLik for a replacement.

Until this is fixed, nothing else is going to work because you cannot turn off the Home cycle option.

That one is the Y switch.

I know, next time I will add “looks like”.

I don’t see the |Pn:X| after entering $. This is what I see

Could any of these be the issue? Just thought I’d ask before I request a replacement. Trying to get this huge project started and this is delaying me (not your fault…just venting).

Unplug the X+ and enter ? to see if you get ride of the Pn:X

Like @parsec said, ? instead.

Apologies for that oversight. Uplugged X+ and hit ?

Not sure what XD is, but I am guessing it means X Disconnected. You can’t test the X-limit switch if it is disconnected, right? You also show it is at 0,0, so it could be close to a limit switch. Move the head out in the middle, with everything connected, and do the ? thing again.

As sson as I power the machine on:

Moved head to the middle:
