Rotary Setup, laser firing before job starts

Ive got a standard k40 with a mini gerbil controller. No idea what i get change to resolve this issue when its fine with Laserweb.

I tried my spare controller same issue. All the cables are secure in the terminal blocks. Chaisis is grounded. I coudl try another power supply but suspect it will do the same thing.

this what happens when i edit and try to load and test the gcode file with ammendments.

It looks like you’re importing the GCode back into LightBurn. Instead of doing that, you need to click the Run GCode button in the Laser window.

Works fine without the M4 command before start.

I cant be the only person having this issue. :frowning:

Is this value correct?

Although I do not think this value being incorrect is likely to cause this particular issue, it is definitely a good move to verify that the $30 value matches the S-Value Max in the Device Settings (Edit → Device Settings) window. 1000 is the default, but 1800 is fine provided the values match in both places.

@Rommel you should also try entering $31=0 in the Console window to set the minimum to 0.

Default on the mini gerbil i believe is 2000. I set mine to 1800 and matched it in LB but it defo doesn’t change anything with this issue.

again $31=1 is the default for the mini gerbil.

What about your
$94
$95
$96
$97
$98
$99
?

It´s worth a try.
