I am using the yet to attempt making some tumblers. The speed between cuts is too fast and the cup moves a lot and the cuts don’t stay centered. I’ve read up and tried turning the white space toggle on and slowing the speed down for that. No matter what I enter, it’s always too fast and I’ve went through three cups already
Disable fast whitespace scan and reduce the travel speed in the move window to a very low value. I think that value is used for travel moves within a job. You can also reduce speed and acceleration for the rotary axis: Rotary roller - Diode Laser Wiki

I do this pretty often to see how it’s going to end up…
Wrap the cup in black masking tape and turn the power down. You can do trial runs with low enough power to mark the tape and not the mug.
