Hey everyone! I am trying to dial in settings to remove coating on metal tumblers without marking the metal. I have seen this done with other lasers and I am just not sure if mine is even capable of that. I have a San Antonio Polymetal 3.0 30w machine. Everything I have tried still leaves lines on the metal. If anyone has advice on removing coating with my 30w galvo, any help would be appreciated.
Bump the frequency way up. Lower interval, higher speed.
Go slightly out of focus to soften the engrave spot.
