Rotating Grouped items around my own created Pivot Point

Rotating Grouped items around my own Pivot Point…

I have a grouped assembly of parts & want to rotate the whole set of grouped parts pivoting on MY OWN selected pivot point…

How do I achieve this in LightBurn ?

I’m not aware of any way to set the pivot point in LB but this would be a useful feature.

The first workaround I can think of is to draw a circle on a tool layer that’s centred on your required pivot point (making sure that the circle fully encloses your group):

I hope this helps.

You can try change the shape reference point

.
or two point rotate

Everything I could have added has already been said, just wanted to add the two-point-rotate video short LB released lately:

How did I miss this feature? I remember watching the video when it first came out. I guess it didn’t register because I didn’t have a use for it at the time. Oh well, it’s in my brain now.

Of course, the two-point rotate! How could I forget that?!?!

Aha - the 2-point rotate is the answer & solved the issue instantly - many thanks people. cheers
