Hello, i have a thunder nova 35, and i have been trying to get the rotoboss i got with it to work. the issue im having is after setup, which the laser detected the settings successfully apparently, the rotary will not move under any circumstance.
- if i frame, the laser just frames as if im doing a regular project on the bed.
- it set the rotary to use the a axis with no way for me to change that,
- the steps per rotation were automatically 12000, tried changing it to 4400 and no change
- i set my origin point and set it to ise origin rather than absolute coordinates
- the rotary is in fact enabled and even says it is on the bottom of the screen
- it moved one time when i first plugged it in and did a quick frame but never again
so when i go to start a project despite everything else, it sends the file and does nothing. no movement from rotary or gantry. then if i hit start on the laser itself it will tell me when the rotary is enabled it disables absolute cs. i dont have absolute coordinates on though, and ive tried starting from current position and starting from origin which i set manually on the laser. another strange thing is when i frame the roughly 4 inch by 4 inch design, the gantry frames half the laser bed…
im so frustrated and have no more ideas left…
