Rough, sandpaper like, finish on 3D carved brass coin after cleanup

Hello,
I’m brand new here.
I have a new 60 Watt MOPA Fiber Laser. My brass 3D cut coins have a rough surface. Any suggestions out there? Please let me know and thank you!

Try using a finish pass with less power and a higher frequency…

The setting you’re using for the 3dslice are what’s causing that. Doesn’t matter if you’re 3dslice or not, how you’re setup and the type of metal determines these.
