Trying to set an chamfer operation, using a round over bit and system wont allow it 
which is odd as a round over bit is used the same as a v bit to finish an edge
Please enable use of round over tool in chamfer
but i can use a round over bit as a surfacing tool or face tool ??
try a profile cut on the line.
Yes could be done using profile . But would like to be able to offset round over which can’t be done using profile
Can you modify the tool diameter the amount of the offset to move the centerline of the spindle? Larger diameter would be towards the line and smaller would be away from the centerline of the drawing. Just an idea.
Have though about that .but I picking it cause issue along the way. Especially when doing a round over in a stepped pocket
But also with being enabled with chamfer can pick tip or edge for start
