Ruida 6442-S can't send files from Lightburn to rotary

I have a chuck style of rotary on a 120w blue/white Ruida laser. I can send a test command to the rotary through the Rotary Setup box and it works just fine but when I go to send an actual file I get the three beeps and nothing happens.
I think I’ve checked all the obvious things but I’m stumped…any suggestions?

It’s not clear what your process is.

Create what you want to engrave in LB
Click SEND, put in file name and ok
On laser control panel, choose FILE, then select the file you sent, then run that file from the control panel?

Is that what you are doing?

What is displayed on the Ruida panel when it beeps.?

Mine beeps once, displays the error.

When I ‘esc’ out of the error I get three beeps…

Is this what’s happening?

It’s probably a ‘slop over’ error.

Only time I’ve had an error with the rotary the controller thought the piece was physically too big. I reduced the project size a bit and it worked.

That’s the ‘slop over’ error…

I set my rotary to the center of the Y travel and origin it there. Using center left as a Job Origin.
