Ruida controller will not update power and speed from Lightburn every thing else works fine
Show us the settings used for this test you did. You may have set to use the Controller Defaults for Speed and Power.
–They are both on default do you think the problem is in lightburn or controller
Thanks Mike
Problem? This is an option, not a problem.
If these are On (green) the settings from the controller are used, not the ones you have set in LightBurn.
If you want to use the power and speed settings you define in LightBurn, turn those Off (red).
I understand they are off and Lightburn should transfer them to laser but they don’t everything else works fine but speed and power I guess i’ll just live with it everything is setup right i think I don’t see any other options is this a flaw in Lightburn? I have seen other people with the same problem using Lightburn and Rudia controllers
thanks Mike
I use the same controller with no issues, I don’t think this is a Lightburn problem.
You might check if you have some setup issues that are limiting you laser, like max speed, max power…
thanks Joel will check it out Mike
Thanks Jack will check it again Mike
I got it fixed thanks alot for your help Mike
LightBurn provides support for the Ruida family of motion controllers and is used by ten’s of thousands of users each day. If this was an issue / flaw, not being able to control the speed and power settings from the software, we would unquestionably hear about it.
Joel and Jack are on to it, I would start with what they suggest and let us know how you progress.
I found it thanks for your time Mike
It might be nice for others if you specified what the issue was.
Good luck take care.
