I wanted to ask if you know if the Ruida Controller RDC6585G is also compatible with Lightburn. I guess yes but I could not find a hint on the compatibility list.

It seems most of these work fine with Lightburn. What the Chinese are not telling us is about the idiosyncrasies between these variants. The 6445 can run a rotary off the U axes with the right firmware. The 6442 apparently cannot. There is no clue in the documentation of why, how come or what is supported on these variants.
I’ve heard that some models will support the U axes, but it’s ability to move is only between layers…
This kind of information is always missing. How to wire it and run it, but little on the subtle functionality.
The best idea is to download a free trial and test it out…
