I have been using my homemade laser with Ruida controller and Lightburn for months. I leave town for two weeks, come home, and now my computer wont connect. I installed the Lightburn update and still nothing. The Ruida controller is showing up on the devices menu, but doesnt connect. And yes the Ethernet cable is plugged in.
Consider to check for an IP assignment by another device on your network. An easy way to do this is to ensure the laser is disconnected from the network and ping the IP address for which it is configured. If you get a return from the ping, there’s an interloper. More accurately, another device which has requested an IP from DHCP has been rewarded/awarded with your laser’s previous and manually configured IP address.
